Opportunities for Businesses
If you are a local (East Jefferson County, WA) entrepreneur, either for-profit or nonprofit, then LION members may be interested in learning more about you, your business, and any investment opportunities you currently have. LION, the Local Investment Opportunities Network, has a process for introducing you and your business opportunity to LION members – a Business Opportunity Submission Form.
If you are considering submitting an Opportunity Form, we suggest that you review "Expectations for a LION Business Opportunity Presentation." It will help you understand what LION members are looking for when investing locally and how to focus your Opportunity Form descriptions. We also ask that you read the preamble of the Business Opportunity Submission Form, as it will alert you to the securities regulations that govern LION member investments and tell you where to find more information about those regulations.
EDC Team Jefferson (the Economic Development Council for Jefferson County) has a cadre of Business Advisors to support local businesses, including during their formative stages. LION recommends that businesses schedule a free consultation with an EDC Business Advisor to review their business plan before submitting a Business Opportunity to LION. Schedule with a business advisor here.
When you are ready, you may complete the fillable pdf Business Opportunity Submission Form and email it to lion.opportunity@L2020.org or mail it to the address provided in the form.
